Many of you may know me as the owner of Keynsham Music, both in Keynsham and Kingswood. Sadly the current climate and competition from the internet has led to the closure of the retail side of the business.

However..

The good news is that I am now available for guitar lessons, re-strings, set-ups and repairs.

I have been teaching guitar for 6 years, across a broad range of styles ranging from fingerpicking acoustic to heavy metal. My students have ranged in age from 6 to 60, beginners to intermediate level.

My teaching is based around 50 years of popular music. If you want to learn songs by Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd or Metallica thats fine by me. Of course beginners will need to reach a certain technical level, how fast you progress is up to you!

Most people at one time in their life have a desire to learn a musical instrument and because of its versatility, the guitar is a perfect choice. Whether your motivation is to be able to bash out a tune at a bar-b-que, play for your own pleasure or join a rock band, believe me, you will have fun.
